With Black Friday well past us, we finally get a peek at the inspiration for Clark Kent’s latest Air Force 1 collab. Released only at three locations in the east coast (NYC, Boston, & Miami), these were yet another reason to camp out for the infamous shopping day. Kent utilized pony hair and a metallic silver textile for the upper. A black patent leather midsole also gives a unique touch. More pics after the jump.
Slated to release in Spring/Summer of 2009 are the these Nike Air Max 90 Moires in two simple colorways. Available in black and grey, the AM90 Moire incorporates the silhouette and midsole of the Air Max 90 current while applying the design cues of the Moire’s one-piece seamless upper. Perforations throughout the upper are yet another feature taken from the Moire, while distinct lines depicting an Air Max 90 complete the Nike Hybrid. More pics after the jump.
In year’s past, Nike has released Valentine’s Day Air Force 1s and Dunks covered in red and pink. For ’09, Nike will take a more subtle approach to Cupid’s Day with a simple colorway and high quality materials. White suede and leather will dominate this Air Force 1 High, with red accents found only on the “AIR” of the midsole and the Nike logo on the tongue. A nice change for ’09, especially for the fellas who don’t mind rockin’ womens footwear. I know I’d consider coppin’ if they made these in a Womens 16 1/2. lol. More pics after the jump.
Set to release in Nike SB’s Spring 2009 collection are these Dunk High’s in a black suede and embossed grey leather. Green stitching throughout the shoe and a printed Owl graphic on the heel provide some color to a generally dark design. There’s not much info available on the concept of these shoes as of yet, but something tells me they’ll be part of a pack revolving around the evening or creatures that go bump in the night. It’s been a minute since we’ve seen a Lebron James Air Force 1. Well, I have to admit, it has been worth the wait with these King James Air Force 1 Supremes recently popping up on the radar. These samples feature a nice Cavs inspired colorway with an Argyle perforated leather on the toebox, front panel, and mid panel. A clear midsole encapsulating an Air Max unit and gum rubber outsole complete the design. These are samples, so no word yet on the availability. You can cop ‘em on ebay though for a grip. These Cool Grey Spizikes as set to drop December 31st!!!
I’ve slept so hard on all of the previous releases, kicking myself each time when they sell out, and turning green with envy every time I see kids on the train with them.
Not this time though. It’ll be a happy New Year, even if I do have to drop a “cool” $175.
If you hadn’t heard, the legendary DJ Clark Kent hooked up with Nike to design the “Black Friday” AF1. Of course it’s scheduled to be released on the country’s busiest shopping day of the year – Black Friday.
In a creative attempt to promote the release of the shoe, Clark Kent tapped Bun B for a Black Friday freestyle. Bun spits his verse over the classic, “My Mind’s Playing Tricks on Me” track. Peep the heat!
