Nike KD II Supreme – Daring Red/Black/Ice (All-Star Edition)

Romping around Oklahoma City is a skinny beast known as Velvet Hoop (think Hyperizers commercial) a.k.a. Kevin Durant! And for 2010 he becomes a first time All-Star and gets a PE for the game. Toning down the brightness from the Creamsicles, these jawns come with some detail to them. Let’s start with the hardwood/wood grain design piece on the side wedged in between the heel and toe area sitting above the midsole. Fresh! It gives a subtle nod to the host state (and city) with the a star embedded in it. It could also be seen as a double entendre for the obvious. Off-setting the Daring Red is a black Swoosh found on the side and black-midfoot strap with a double-stitch detail. And all this sits in an icey sole. Even the sole has some interesting details.

Drop the top on this post for a better glance at some of the details, then head over to Kix-Files and cop you a pair before the All-Star/Valentine’s Day Weekend.
