This past Sunday, August 29th, saw the opening of Mai Hiro and Reign’s month-long “We Make It Reign” exhibit and gallery in the Winter Park suburb of Orlando, FL. On display at Reign’s streetwear boutique store was a plethora of canvas paintings, prints and vinyl toys from Mai Hiro’s Nakanari and Soujohn. Also featured were new t-shirts and merchandise from Kuso Vinyl and Kuso Pop, as well as some dope wood pieces from Dave “Outtamymind” Quiles. As one of the sponsors of the event, we were there to capture all the happenings. After the jump you’ll find some shots from the event. “More than late night chases and races… London’s Run Dem Crew: art, photography, poetry, performance, animation, on the fly.”

KAWS gives the world a peek at an upcoming project he’s doing in Hong Kong via this image showcasing a larger-than-life character sculpture. The Companion character sculpture -which is at least three times the size of KAWS himself – will be showcased in Harbour City, Hong Kong sometime this October. Stay tuned.

Look at what’s releasing in five days! Yup, KAWS’ Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket vinyls will be available on August 28th at Original Fake in Tokyo for a little over $200 USD. In addition to having the bread to cop ‘em, you’ll also be subjected to OF’s lottery system which is typical for some of the limited and exclusive releases. Hopefully, we’ll have some access soon for those of stateside that want to get ‘em. More looks after the jump.
