In Part II of our ongoing Road to the White House feature: Let’s Connect. Politic. Ditto., we catch up with Vice Presidential candidate and Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin, for her first trip to Central Florida. The palm trees and 90 degree reading on the thermostat is a far cry from parkas and glaciers in “The Last Frontier,” as things got hotter than usual for the Alaskan native. After speaking at a rally, we believe topics of discussion were as follows: how to sustain the Republican’s “fundamentally strong economy” and recounting strategies for the usual Florida “split decision” vote, we found one of her aides clutching a mysterious red briefcase.
What’s inside the briefcase you ask? Can it be the $85 billion “food stamp” dollars the Fed used to bail out AIG? Maybe the chads from the Florida ballots of the 2000 Presidential Election? We were intrigued, and with a little bit of lobbying, we got Palin’s aide, Alisica to show us the goods.
